update on life
In July, i started my semester in National Institute of Design haryana. A college i dreamt of for more than 2 years, well more or less it was NID ahemdabad but im not that disapointed with my achievemnt of getting into NID haryana. Afterall its an NID right? But realistically speaking not sure why i ran after NID. still dont. It does have its reputation as one of the top colleges in india but why? is it the students that make it or the curriculum. havent figured the answer to that yet and im not sure if i ever will. regardless im in a university right now, I get homesick a lot. Mostly because i had a schedule, i had a definite life there. The utmost important was i had a support system there. Anything happens i could just go back home, its a little harder to do that here being 23h 6m (1,495 km)* away from home.

I need to start taking care of my health more, Not in terms of exercising but physically i dont think im eating well enough, The mess food isnt that great too. But im not complaining, i do cook oats everyday and it keeps me sane!! Its fun running here tho, early morning 5 rounds of this campus and 5k done! but I also feel because of this im stuck to running only 5k Mentally. Back home i had the freedome or space? to run further. Here it feels like im constrained to either a 5 or 3k. Or maybe im just not used to going more than 5k here. I should try running more than 5k.

Other than running Im constantly bombarded with university work. Design uni assignments or no joke. the constant need to be "perfect" and have to be in the zone is a real thing here, you cant wander of for a second or you feel like youve lost this race. When i talk about race, its there in every stream or well in everything I, you do but im specifically in this context am talking about being ahead while not being ahead. Its like eating the sides of the bread and saving the white center for last. This is exactly how being in this university feels like, Prepping yourself to eat that center. Im probably going way off topic in what i mean, but I hope my point is understood well. This race currently on surface level is just in this university i keep thinking whats it going to feel like once im out? Does it get worse or progresively better? You can never predict a design industry id say. Just a few years ago having the simplist website made you stand out, but now its the opposite the most interactive website wins the viewers attention. The constand need to feed the consumer. Honestly its scary.

my current thoughts about any design university in india
there's something nice about creating a small thing just because you can. no big plan, no audience needed. just curiosity and a little time.

a tiny thought
i like websites that feel like someone's little room on the internet. a bit unfinished, a bit personal, and full of things worth clicking.
currently thinking about
- design and visual things - music i've had on repeat - learning something new - making more time for hobbies - the small details that make a day feel good
another small note
not every thought needs to become a big project. sometimes it can just be a sentence on a page.
